Getting back into Triathlons was a big goal of mine after having my 3rd child. I was so eager to get back into it, but in the same breath I was wondering if this was really possible. Could a mom of 3 (at the time 3, 1, and 3 months) and a husband with a busy schedule have the time to train?!
It wasn’t long after having these dreams, goals and concerns that I was told about Marcy’s Coaching. I knew it came down to me deciding if Tri’s could fit into my daily schedule, but I also wanted to hear what she had to say about training, schedules, being a mom, and being a competitive athlete. After talking with her, I knew I could do it and I knew I just found a strong, dedicated, knowledgeable coach.
In our first conversation, she was extremely descriptive of what types of training would be required for various types of racing, knowledgeable about racing at different competitive levels as well distance and mapping out exactly what I needed to do. She knew of my busy schedule and was very realistic about whether or not it could be accomplished. I know she knew it could, but she was very respectful about leaving that decision to me. The encouragement, belief and motivation came after I decided this was for me. The last 6 months have been incredible.
Although Marcy and I are miles apart, she’s always right there. I have had a lot of success, feel pushed, encouraged, supported and cared for! I wanted a coach that was going to push me to my limits, and then some. I have that and much much more. I’m excited for all that’s going to come.
